Wy'east WeavingCathy McMurray
One-of-a-kind handwoven wall hanging. Most of the yarn used in this weaving was handspun by me and hand-dyed in an indigo fermentation vat. Inspired by the mossy trees and blue waters of the Pacific Northwest wilderness. Wy'east is the native name of Mt. Hood.
Tied to driftwood found on the Oregon coast and ready to hang. Made in Portland, Oregon. 2016.
15" x 41" (driftwood is 22" wide)
